Merry Trick-or-Treat in October 2021…

We hosted Merry Trick-or-Treating on Saturdays and Sundays during the fall through 10/24/21.  Some Halloween flavor complemented our focus on Christmas, with trick-or-treating around the park even as Christmas music filled the air.  Halloween ornaments complemented the Christmas decor, and guests were welcome to wear Halloween costumes, or Christmas attire, or dress for a regular day at the park.

Children and adults celebrated this holiday in a fun and friendly atmosphere, as several of the shops catered to Trick-or-Treaters.  Daily capacity was limited, and tickets had to be purchased online in advance.

Please note that the photos below are of prior Silly Spooky Halloween events and do not represent our planned Merry Trick or Treating decorations.

When are you open?

Our hours in the month of October 2021 were scheduled for 9:30am to 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays through October 24, 2021.

Developments in public health and business guidelines regarding the ongoing pandemic, and the availability of qualified staffing, will impact our plans and schedule, be sure to check our calendar before planning to visit the park, or call 603-586-4445, as dates and hours are subject to change at any time.

What is open?

We anticipate having most of our rides open for your enjoyment, and we have two shows scheduled in the Polar Theater: “A Tinkerdoodle Christmas” and “Santa’s Light Show.”    And, Santa and his reindeer are here to greet guests.

We also anticipate having most of our dining and gift shops open.  Several of the shops will cater to children for trick-or-treating.

The water park was open through 10/10/21, temperatures permitting.  The Yule Log Flume ride was open through 10/10/21.

What should we wear?

A visit to Santa’s Village is an outdoor experience that takes place in variable weather conditions, regardless of temperatures.

We recommend dressing comfortably for a day outdoors at an amusement park.  Shirts, shoes, and shorts or pants are required throughout Santa’s Village, except when playing in the water park.  We recommend bringing layers as temperatures can vary during the day.  In the event of a fall shower, we offer complimentary ponchos in many of our gift shops.  And if it’s warm, in early October remember to bring your swimsuit in case you’d like to enjoy the water park!

For our Merry Trick-or-Treating on Saturdays and Sundays in October, guests are welcome to wear Halloween costumes, or Christmas attire, or dress for a regular day at the park.

Will you cancel the Merry Trick-or-Treating if it rains or snows?

Our Halloween event typically is held rain or shine as scheduled.  (A late-morning heavy, wet snow forced a last-minute cancellation once; we’re hoping for more favorable weather for all of the dates this year.)
