Upon hiring, proper identification must be provided to complete the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification form before starting work.  For those under age 18, parental signature is required before beginning employment.  New Helpers are required to provide proof of eligibility and legal authorization to work in the United States as provided under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.

 

Seasonal positions for Helpers as young as 14, or as experienced as retirees, and all ages in between.

Santa is seeking enthusiastic Helpers for seasonal work, including weekends, during the months of May through December.

All of our Helpers must choose to maintain a positive attitude on the job, constantly provide excellent customer service, and be willing to work in other departments and perform other duties as requested.

The starting wage range is $9 to $15 per hour.  There are also discounts park-wide on food & gifts, plus tickets for you, family & friends to visit the park.

 

What types of jobs are available for Helpers 14 to 15 years old?

Admissions Cashier: provide a positive first impression to guests while scanning tickets, answering questions, and processing sales.

Foods Server, Foods Cashier, Foods Cleaner: fulfill guest orders and communicate with kitchens to keep food items available; greet guests and process sales; maintain a clean and organized location, stock supplies, wash trays and utensils.

Gifts Helper, Gifts Cashier: stock shelves, price merchandise, maintain a clean shop, and assist shoppers; greet guests and process sales.

Photo Shop Helper/Cashier: take and print photos, assemble photo gifts, stock and maintain a clean shop, greet guests and process sales.

Theater Helper: greet and interact with guests, wear costumes and participate in performances, move stage props, run the 3-D movie, and maintain a safe and clean area.

Grounds Cleaner, Trash Collector: walk around cleaning walkways, benches, tables, and restrooms; empty and re-set trash cans, and transport trash and cardboard to designated locations.

 

What types of jobs are available for Helpers 16 to 17 years old?

Rides Attendant, Water Park Attendant: safely attend to and monitor amusement rides and guests participating on the rides, board and secure passengers, operate rides; ensure safe and smooth operation of the water park, courteously interact with guests, and enforce safety rules.

Foods Cook, Foods Mover: prepare and cook foods following proper policies and procedures, maintain a clean work area, stock the kitchen; pick products from the warehouse, load, and deliver to shops.

Gifts Mover: pick products from the warehouse, load, and deliver to shops.

Guest Services Attendant: answer guest questions, provide area information, process season passes; assist employees with uniform items.

Blacksmith: greet guests and size, bend, and fit horseshoe nail rings.

Grounds Cleaner (early), Lawn Mower, Parking Lot Attendant: clean restrooms and replenish supplies prior to opening, walk around cleaning walkways, benches, tables, strollers, and restrooms while open; mow, trim, and weed grounds prior to opening; direct traffic in parking lots.

Office Receptionist: answer internal phone calls and external guest phone inquiries, communicate on park-wide radios, assist with administrative tasks.

Coordinator, Captain/Co-Captain: assist department manager with supervision, training, and staff support; oversee day-to-day shop operations, including supervision, training, and staff support.
