What does admission include?

In addition to the standard features — parking, stroller use, the Elfabet game and prize, a blacksmith ring, visits with Santa and his reindeer, amusement rides, the 3-D movie and light shows — your admission during the New Year’s Eve special event includes fireworks and party favors, plus delicious treats from our food shops, and soft drinks.  It’s the perfect combination of a late visit at Santa’s Village, and an early-evening New Year’s celebration — with plenty of snacking included.

What is open?

Most of our rides that normally operate during our Christmastime season are typically scheduled to be open on this evening; snow, rain, or freezing temperatures may limit some rides.  The Ferris Wheel and You Tubing usually close at 7:30pm prior to the fireworks show.  The reindeer also head home around 7:30pm prior to the fireworks.

Our dining locations (excluding Merry Mess Hall) are scheduled to be open as well. Food and soft drinks from our shops are included with admission during the New Year’s Eve special event.

Santa will be at his home so that children can thank him for their gifts.  His reindeer will be available to meet with guests until 7:30pm prior to the fireworks; the reindeer will not be available after the fireworks show.  Elfabet University and the Blacksmith Shop will be open.  And several of our gift shops will be open for post-Christmas shopping.

What food/beverage items are offered?

The food and beverage menu options offered during our Christmastime season are made available during this special event.  Some items include pizza, French fries, hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, soups, stew, cookies, fudge, doe-nuts, soft drinks, hot cocoa, and coffee!

What should we wear?

You should bundle up!  A visit to Santa’s Village is primarily an outdoor experience, and winter is upon us at the end of December.  We highly recommend wearing winter jackets, boots, ski pants, hats, and gloves/mittens to fully enjoy your visit.

This is an outdoor event that takes place in variable weather conditions, regardless of temperatures.  Please plan for variable weather, and dress to spend the evening outdoors.
